Ron Jeremy Does PETA

The marketing heads of PETA are hard at work in their campaigns again. Well, the same geniuses that gave us the amazing ideas of throwing blood on people who wear fur, dressing up as chickens and dancing in the streets, or passing out pamphlets that read "your mom is a murderer" to kids have attracted a new spokeseperson for their ads.....the one, the only......Ron Jeremy.

Wow.

What more can I say than that? Not much so I'll just quote PETA. "Recently, Ron proved that his biggest organ may be his heart ". Oh PETA, how your innonence warms my heart. The string of contradictions didn't end there, as Ron Jeremy publicly proclaimed "Too much sex can be a bad thing." This coming from a guy who was starred in over 1800 Adult movies. He is saying this in reference to animals, but c'mon....your entire legacy is built on sex, hard to believe you think it's a bad thing.

The strongest point about the ad is how Jeremy is portrayed. He is saying this to the camera, as he is lying naked in bed with handcuffs on, giving his opinion about fixing animals. I don't think it should stop there though, since every one cares about porn stars opinions. I personally think Mike Wallace should interview Jeremy lying naked on a table, and ask him about his views about the War in Iraq. I would like to know what person Ron thinks should take over in Iraq. Or maybe Ron can help George Bush figure out what do with the North Korea. Yeah! They can even designate a new post for him at the UN...UN Secretary of Fat, Old, Naked Porn Stars. He can sit right beside Kofi Annon and help him to figure out the right way to combat the Aids Epidemic in Africa.

What also strikes me as weird is how PETA is advocating spaying and neutering animals...here is there mission statement: "PETA believes that animals have rights and deserve to have their best interests taken into consideration, regardless of whether they are useful to humans. Like you, they are capable of suffering and have an interest in leading their own lives; therefore, they are not ours to use—for food, clothing, entertainment, experimentation, or any other reason."
So what is it PETA. I think if your lopping of a dog's hog that might cause it a bit of suffering. If you believe that they have rights and deserve to have their best interests taken into consideration, don't go Lorena Bobbit on Old Yeller.

I love how PETA takes the most morally reprehensible and makes them icons. Not only does Ron Jeremy speak up for them, but good 'ol Pam Anderson writes letters to companies on their behalf thinking it'll do any good. Memo to PETA...if anybody has ever gave or received a facial on video, their opinions become useless. Who are you trying to convert to your side? How many parents will support a program that uses people who lay down for porn rags, and make a living on public fornication? If the parents don't want their kids seeing that, the kids don't and they continue eating their happy meals. On the bright side, you get all the internet porn addicts and those guys who wear their long trenchcoats and sunglasses to the porn store.

Go away PETA.
